As we begin a new school year, the Fannin County School System Transportation Department will hold an awareness meeting this Friday, August 2, at 3:00 p.m. in the parking lot at West Fannin Elementary School. Personnel from the Fannin County Sheriff’s Office, Blue Ridge City Police Department, McCaysville Police Department, and the Georgia State Patrol have been invited to join us as we share information about the importance of watching for children around our bus stops throughout Fannin County. This will be a short meeting, and a new extended bus stop arm will be unveiled. A photo opportunity will be available.
