Mr. Bobby Abe Curtis, age 83, of Epworth, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Fannin Regional Hospital. Bobby was born September 12, 1935, in Isabella, TN to the late J E Curtis and the late Lona Boggs Curtis. Bobby was a carpenter by trade, and in his spare time, he enjoyed making furniture and wood crafts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Curtis, one daughter, Kathy Westmoreland, and sons, Bobby “Bo” Curtis and Allen Derrick.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Greg Boling, daughters, Janice Ann Curtis, Lisa Patterson, and Tracy Patterson, son, Billy Derrick, brother, James Curtis, brother, Max Curtis, sister, Carolyn Anderson, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friend, Marie Hughes.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Max Curtis officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 13, 2019, from 1-2 pm.
