Colleen Wright

Colleen Wright, age 82 of Copperhill, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs. Wright was born on April 8, 1936 in Copperhill, TN to the late Frank P. Arp and Mamie Free Arp. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Wright was a mother and housewife. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Eugene Wright.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas (Karen) Wright of Copperhill, TN and Franklin Wright of OH; daughter and son-in-law, Doris (Bobby) Gunter of Dahlonega, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Peggy) Arp of McCaysville, GA; sister, Katherine Armstrong of Quitman, TX; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Patterson of Chatsworth, GA; two grandsons, Charles Bobo and James Bobo; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and four step-great-grandchildren.　

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. from Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Jerry Rice officiating. Music was by the Midway Baptist Church Choir. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill (Airport Road) Baptist Church Cemetery. Kenny Norton, Kenneth Patterson, Curtis Taylor, J.J. Gaddis, Mario Gonzales and Henry Raper served as pallbearers.
