Phi Beta Lamba seeks Members and Sponsors


Kiwanis of Blue Ridge recently hosted guests from North Georgia Technical College’s Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (Blairsville Campus).

State Officer Sherry Carr, Local Chapter President Heather Wells, and Advisor Mona Williams were on hand to speak to Kiwanians about their program and its advantages of being a member for everyone who may be returning to college to further their careers, a change in career, or for new students just entering college.

Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) (Blairsville Campus) is reaching out to acquire sponsors and donations for upcoming competitive events.

PBL is an opportunity available to all college students. As a PBL member, many activities await you such as “professional development workshops, conferences, and competing events; corporate informational and networking workshops/sessions” as well. Emphasis of the organization is aimed at “professionally developing its members into competent leaders who are ready for placement in the business world after graduation.”

Organizations are being sought to sponsor upcoming events of PBL. Listed below are a few of the levels of sponsorship:

  • Five Star Sponsor: a gift of $1,000 will help sponsor 10 Competitive Events, have your company or organization receive a full page ad/logo in the official Conference Program, and reserved seating at the Awards Banquet.

  • Platinum Sponsor: a gift of $500 will help members attend six Competitive Events, have your company or organization receive a half page ad/logo in the official Conference Program, and a display table for the duration of the Conference.

  • Gold Sponsor: a gift of $350 will allow PBL members to attend four Competitive Events and your company or organization will receive a quarter page ad/logo in the Official Conference Program. You will be allowed to Conduct (a) workshop. Your company’s materials will be distributed at the Advisor’s Hospitality Suite on Saturday (of the event.)
