Emma Robena Skinner

November 28, 1937 – January 14, 2019

Emma Robena Skinner, age 81, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on January 14, 2019 in Braselton, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Merville Skinner. Mrs. Skinner had worked as a Contracting Officer for the United States Government.

Survivors include, two sons, Lewis Seaman of Tampa, FL and Robert Seaman of Mineral Bluff, GA; one daughter and son-in-law, Jody and Stuart Watts of Fayetteville, GA; step-son, James Lee Skinner and wife Kathy of Newborn, GA; sister, Betty Martello of CA; grandchildren, Ashley Watts, Dustin Watts, Eddie Tucker, Shaun Tucker and Ronnie Brice; 5 great grandchildren; nieces, Diane Hardeman, Melanie Gallardo and Sherry Cheek; and friend and long time companion, Harry Abernathy of Blue Ridge, GA.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10 a.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Interment followed in the Morrow Methodist Cemetery in Morrow, GA. Condolences may be sent to the family online at akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of the arrangements.
