Debbie Annette Colwell Carter, age 61, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at her home. She was born on October 28. 1957 in Bossier City, LA. She worked for 25 years as an Administrator at L&S Electronics. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Annie and Fred Galloway and Dessie and Roy Colwell of Blue Ridge.

She is survived by her mother, Geneva Galloway Colwell of Charleston, SC; father, Ronald Colwell of North Charleston, SC; and sister and brother-in-law, Sherry Lynne Collwell Bohne and Bill Bohne of Charleston, SC.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00 am from the Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Matthew McDaniel officiating. A eulogy will be given by Sherry Bohne. Interment will follow in the Galloway Cemetery. Ray Watkins, Clark Galloway, Damon Galloway, Hunter Galloway, Fred Galloway, and Jimmy Griffin will serve as pallbearers. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday Evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Galloway Cemetery Fund, c/o Rev.
