Wade Allen Green, Sr., age 76, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 in Blue Ridge, GA. Born on November 1, 1942 in Blue Ridge, GA, he was the son of the late Leonard and Nellie Pilkey Green. He was an Army Combat Veteran serving during Vietnam and was a member of Boardtown Church Of Christ. Wade had worked as a Mechanic for Goldkist in Ellijay for a number of years.

He is survived by Two Sons and One Daughter-In-Law, Wade Allen Green, Jr. and wife Crystal of Blue Ridge, GA, Nathaniel Alexander Green of Kennesaw, GA; Three Brothers and one sister-in-law, Gary Green, Larry Green, Lenny and Carol Green; Sister, Barbara Odom; Two Grandchildren, Kell Green, Tyger Sliter; One Cousin, Janice Beavers.

Memorial services will be conducted on Monday, December 10, 2018, at 2:00 pm from Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge with Min. Cody Bearden and Min. Justin Mason officiating. Music will be led by Shannon Bearden. Full military honors will be provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard with interment to follow in the OZion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
