Mrs. Mary Lou Chambers, age 76, of McCaysville, passed away November 20, 2018, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Mrs. Chambers was born February 9, 1942, in Ducktown, TN to the late Harley Fowler and the late Ina Stanley Fowler. She loved shopping, flower gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by her father, Harley Fowler, mother, Ina Fowler, brother, Harley Dan Fowler, and brother, Johnny Fowler.
Survivors include her husband, William (Terry) Chambers, son, Matthew Terry (Ivy Lanell) Chambers, sister, Joann (Alvin) Henry, sister, Janie Hardin, sister, Lena Mae (Franklin) King, brother, Hugh (Buster) Don Fowler, grandsons, Josey Matthew Chambers and Stephen Terry Chambers.
Funeral services: Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA., at 2:00 PM.
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville Tuesday morning, November 27, 2018, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
