Mitchell Adams: Obituary

January 27, 1950 – November 12, 2018

Mitchell Adams, age 68, of Turtletown, TN passed away Monday, November 12, 2018. Mitchell was born in Polk County, TN, to the late Clarence and Mildred Marie Adams. He had worked in Maintenance for Shaw Industries and was of the Holiness Faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Mary Jones Adams of the home; sons, Chuck Adams and Stacy Adams, both of Turtletown, TN; brother, Daniel (Dorothy) Adams of Turtletown, TN; sister Sharon (Abe) Taylor of Turtletown, TN; three grandchildren, Cody Adams, Dustin Adams and Jennings Adams. Many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Roy Trantham and Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. Music will be by the Smith Sisters. Pallbearers selected to serve include, Jeremy Jones, Michael Jones, Jonathan Smith, Jody Smith, Dewayne Adams, Randall Allen and Mickey Loudermilk. Interment will follow in the Craig Family cemetery.
