Doris “Dee” Yvonne Tingle, age 83 of Morganton, GA passed away October 29, 2018 in Blue Ridge, GA. Mrs. Tingle was born October 29, 1935 in Fort Sumner, NM to the late William Dirickson and the late Lucille Stewart Dirickson. Dee was a graduate of Albuquerque High School in Albuquerque, NM and an alumnus of Tyler Junior College in Tyler, TX. She enjoyed numerous careers during her life including: race car driver, telephone switchboard operator, seamstress, homemaker, and a pastor’s wife. Mrs. Tingle is preceded in death by her first husband (and father of her children) Harold Noble. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Survivors include: her husband of 25 years, Rev. Jim Tingle of Morganton, GA; two sons, Allen (Carla) Noble of Oklahoma City, OK and Dale (Colleen) Noble of Norfolk, VA; daughter, Sheri Upton of Hobbs, NM; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and step children also survive.
Memorial Service: Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm from the Cherry Log Christian Church in Cherry Log, GA with the Rev. Adam Bradley presiding.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cherry Log Christian Church.
