Wanda Sue Stillwell: Obituary

Wanda Sue Stillwell, age 61, of McCaysville, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Born on July 29, 1957 in Ellijay, GA, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Farmer and Mildred Green Farmer. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She retired after working as a Registered Nurse for Dr. Tidman.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Stillwell of McCaysville; son, Scott Thomas of Morganton; sister, Sandra (Steve) Morris of Morganton; brother, Michael Farmer of Blue Ridge; and her pet companion, Bubba.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. from Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Payne officiating. Music was provided by Benny Picklesimer and Rick Curtis. Interment followed in the O’Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Jason Campbell, Zeke Henson, John Walker, and Leonard Walker served as pallbearers.  Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of the arrangements.
