Patricia Gayle Campbell, age 76, of Epworth, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Pruitt Health Care in Blue Ridge. Mrs. Campbell was born on January 25, 1942 in Oconee County, South Carolina. She was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer F. Born and Nell Walthall Born.
She is survived by her husband, James William Campbell of the home; sons, Billy (Pam) Campbell of Morganton, Randy Loeffler of McCaysville, and Rodney Wade Campbell of Ellijay; a daughter, Deanna Marie (Jeff) Queen of Griffin; a brother, Wade Smith of Toccoa; a sister, Johnny Sue Potts of Monroe, NC; and grandchildren, Randy Tyler Loeffler, Trey Campbell, and Erica East.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Crews officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help defray final expenses. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of the arrangements.
