Gene Clinton Landers, age 66, of Murphy, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Mr.Landers was born in Atlanta, GA to Gene Clinton Landers, Sr. and Mitty Blanche Rowe Landers. He was a self employed home painter and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was also preceded in death by brother, Bill Landers.

He is survived by his companion of thirty two years, Caroline Carroll of the home; children, Jayson (Amy) Landers, Milton (Laura) Landers, Pauline Landers; the mother of his children, Kathleen Landers; brother, Vincent Landers; sister, Melissa Rowland and friend John Hughes. one grandchild, Emily Landers.
