Clydetta Locke, age 67, of Copperhill, TN passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Mrs. Locke was born in McCaysville to the late Clyde and Elizabeth Queen Patterson. She had worked as a Retail Associate with Rose’s Department Store and was a member of the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Dwight, Marion and James Wesley Patterson.
She is survived by her loving husband of forty eight years, Charles Locke; her mother,Elizabeth Queen Patterson; brother, Rev. Clifton Patterson; brother-in-law, Glenn Locke; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Bowe, Rhonda Patterson, Janet Twiggs, Jessica Patterson, Salena Kennedy, Brad Patterson, Robbie Locke and Jill Locke.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Doug Payne officiating. Pallbearers include Brad Patterson, Robbie Locke, Robert Bowe, Tristan Boling and Nathan Rogers. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, May 19th from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
