FCHS Engineering National Test

Congratulations to the Applications of Engineering students at Fannin County High School.  100% of the students passed the National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOCTI) Pre-Engineering/Engineering Technology exam.  Nationally, over 10,000 students took the exam, and the national pass rate was 58%. The Engineering students at Fannin High did an outstanding job, performing well above the national average!

The students completed a three course Engineering Pathway, consisting of Foundations of Engineering, Engineering Concepts, and Engineering Applications.  Several of the students are planning to pursue careers in Engineering or Engineering Technology.  During the pathway, students learned how to create Engineering drawings, use industry standard 3D modeling software, create 3D prints, design and build robots, and write computer programs.

“I am very proud of these future Engineers!  It has been a pleasure to work with them over the last four years, and I wish them all the best in their future endeavors.” Bubba Gibbs, Engineering Teacher FCHS.
