JoAnn Hawkins Hardin: Obituary

JoAnn Hawkins Hardin, age 77 of Conyers, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Mrs. Hardin worked for the state of Georgia as a records clerk. She enjoyed fishing and caring for her flowers. She loved to camp and spending time with her family at the hunting club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulus and Erma Hawkins.

She is survived by her husband, Frank William Hardin; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Ann and Cohen Wayne Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Mark William and Carrie Thompson Hardin; grandson, Mark William Hardin, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery. The family will visit with friends at Scot Ward Funeral Services, Conyers, GA on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 5 until 8 p.m. and at Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 5 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Yaarab Shines for Children’s Hospitals for Children at www.yaarabshrine.net.
