Robert Joseph Slodysko, Sr, age 71, of Copperhill, TN passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in the Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, GA. Born on April 8, 1947 in Shamokin, PA, he was the son of the late Adam Joseph Slodysko and Eva Thomas Slodysko. He was retired from the United States Navy. Mr. Slodysko was preceded in death by a son, Sean Slodysko.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Margie) Slodysko of Copperhill, TN; son, Robert (Rosemarie) Slodysko Jr. of Buford, GA; brother, Randy (Evelyn) Slodysko of Shamokin, PA; three Sisters, Ann McCray of Merritt Island, FL, Patricia Huntington of Pittman, PA, Andrea Maurer of Shamokin, PA; and three Grandchildren, Robert Joseph Slodysko, III, Richard James Slodysko, and Reilly Slodysko; .

Funeral mass will be conducted on Monday, May 7, 2018, at 11:00 am from St. Catherine’s Catholic Church with Father Thomas W. Moser officiating. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Rosary will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. along with honors by the Knights of Columbus and North Georgia Honor Guard.
