Grant L. Simpson, age 77 of Mineral Bluff, passed away May 2, 2018 in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. Simpson was born April 9, 1941 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Max Simpson and the late Dorothy Robinson Simpson. A member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Mr. Simpson has lived in the area for the last forty-seven years. Grant worked as a stone mason and also was an artist who painted many beautiful portraits and enjoyed flat bottom fishing in the Keys in his spare time.
Survivors include: wife, Ruth Simpson; son, Brian Simpson; daughters, Kim Genoch, Donna McDaniel, Robin Burger, Leslie Wimpy; sister, Laurel Merseal; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services: A private family service will be held at a later date.
