City of Blue Ridge officials announced the city will be celebrating “Georgia Cities Week” April 22-28. The city will be holding a variety of events throughout the week, including a coloring contest, essay contest and activities to clean up our community. The theme of this year’s Georgia Cities Week is “Cities in the Spotlight,” highlighting cities’ important role in the state’s history, economy and every-day activities of residents.
“We’re very proud of our city and the services we provide that make it attractive to residents and visitors,” said Mayor Donna Whitener. “Cities provide the services and infrastructure to help businesses grow, and set the stage for events where families and individuals can gather as a community.”
