Patricia Ann Schramm Grant: Obituary

Patricia Ann Schramm Grant, age 83, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in the home of her son, John, in Blue Ridge, Georgia. She was born on November 30, 1934 in Jacksonville, Illinois. She was of the Lutheran faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen Evans Schramm and Leah Juanita Schramm, her grandson, Michael Barbare, and her brother-in-law, Marlin Zimmer.

Patricia graduated from Jacksonville High School and attended the Art Institute of Chicago.

She is survived by her children, Mark Grant and spouse Nancy, David Grant and spouse Pam, Ann Barbare and spouse Donnie, John Grant and spouse Laurie, and Glenn Grant and spouse Greg; grandchildren, Kristen, Elizabeth, Caroline, Katie, Sarah, Amy, Jennifer, Atura, Jaron, Brenna, Arthur, Graham; great-grandchildren, Grant, Tyler, Luke, Austin, Audrick. She is also survived by her sister Judie Zimmer of Jacksonville, Illinois.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 24, at 4:00 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Rev. Victor Morgan officiated. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
