Michael Lynn Johnson, a very loving husband, father, and grandfather, age 59 of Copperhill,TN, passed away March 6, 2018 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Mr. Johnson was born September 5, 1958 in Copperhill, TN to the late Mack Johnson and the late Carolyn Stuart Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: wife, Angela (Beavers) Johnson, daughter, Cindy (Jacob) Pless, grandson, Owen Pless, Brother, Mark (Gail) Johnson, brother in law Buddy (Lois) Beavers, sister in law Audrey Head, many nephews, great nephews, great nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and lots of friends.

Michael (MJ) is a 1977 graduate of Fannin County High School. He worked at Caradon in Chattsworth, GA where he met the love of his life, Angela and have been married for 38 years. MJ also worked various jobs including Blue Ridge Carpets and C.W. Matthews. MJ and Angela have a daughter Cindy, son in law Jacob, and grandson Owen, whom he loved very much. MJ loved spending time with his family and his many friends. He also enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, gardening, and being outdoors.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, GA , Friday, March 9, 2018, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Interment will be at a later date.
