She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Johnny Queen of the home; sons, David (Cynthia) Queen of McCaysville, GA and Kevin (Tenya) Queen of Ellijay, GA; a daughter, Angela Queen Candelaria of Blue Ridge, GA; brothers, Billy Joe (Carolyn) Howard of Ellijay, GA, Ronnie Howard of Blue Ridge, GA, and Steve (Brenda) Howard of Texas; sisters, Marie Loftis of Blue Ridge, GA and Kathy Bowers of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, James Candelaria, Sophia Queen, Anthony Queen, and Makalia Queen; and a great grandchild, Cayden Robinson.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Rev. Denise Caldwell officiating. Music will be by Denise Tallent along with Rev. Denise Caldwell. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Church Epworth Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Anthony Queen, Gary Queen, Terry Flowers, Brandon Flowers, Travis Queen, Jeff Queen, and Joey Queen.
