George Leslie Robinson, age 71, of McCaysville, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.
Mr. Robinson was born September 13, 1946, in Omer, MI to the late George B. and Alta Robinson. George was a man with a big heart that was good to everybody. People remember him from his time working at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts. He was a US Army veteran serving in Vietnam, active member of McCaysville United Methodist Church, he loved the Lord and practiced his faith every day, an avid football fan. He liked woodworking and aminals. George enjoyed driving his Jaguar through the countryside.
Survivors include his wife, Toni Lee Robinson together they had 38 wonderful years of marriage, also survived by a sister, Jackie Plymire, sister-in-law and brother-in-law JoDee and Fred Brandhuber, his church family and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the McCaysville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall Wednesday, December 13, from 2:30 till the service hour of 3:00 PM. Donations may be made to the McCaysville United Methodist Church (712 Blue Ridge Drive, McCaysville, GA 30555).
