William Edd “Bo” Dills, age 92, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in Blue Ridge, GA with his family by his side. Mr. Dills was born on May 17, 1925 in Fannin County, GA to the late Bert Monroe and Pearl Tate Dills. He was a member of Barnes Chapel Baptist Church and had worked for the Tennessee Copper Company for over 40 years. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Pearl C. Dills, and a brother, Tip Dills.

He is survived by his daughters, Nola Mae (Charles) Hogsed , Lola Fay (Charlie) Farmer, and Marline (Bob) Lewis; brothers, Sonny (Betty) Dills and Maynard Dills; sisters, Margaret Goddard, Marie Dills, and Shirley Dills; grandchildren, Michelle Farmer, Nichole (Robert) Wilson, Renee (Mike) Watkins, and Nathan Lewis; and great grandchildren, Amberlee Lewis, Faith Watkins, Will Watkins, Roush Watts, and Anneliese Watts.

Funeral Services were held on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Dan Wilkins and Rev. Harold Weeks officiating. Interment followed at the Chastain Memorial Park with Rev. Scott Baugh officiating and the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: James Edward McGill, Cory Callihan, Steve Green, Steve Huffman, Ricky Curtis, and Mike Watkins. Honorary pallbearers were: Bill Standridge, Boyce Long, Steve Campbell, Wendell Burgess, Eddie Ratcliff, Bobby Donaldson, Nathan Lewis, Don Lewis, Archie Farmer, and Dennis Dean. The family visited with friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Thursday evening from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
