Ernest Allen White, age 76 of Blue Ridge passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at home. He was born on July 3, 1941 in Fannin County to the late George Washington White and Pearly Irene Lewis White. Mr. White was owner and operator of his own vinyl siding company. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife of thirty-one years, Sue White of the home; son, Chris White of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters, Pam Stiles of Blue Ridge, GA, Pam Ensley (Rodney) of Epworth, GA, Joyce Foster of Blue Ridge, GA and Maxine Edwards (Kyle) of Robbinsville, NC; grandchildren, Nichole Phillips, Brooke Cloud, Nathan Ensley, Jordan Ensley, Tyler Ensley, Felicia Loetscher, Jace White, Kaitlyn White, Cole White, Abigail White, Heather Stanley, Brittney Ensley, Colby Edwards, Tanner Edwards, Brannon Edwards and Kollyn Edwards and fifteen great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Stanley Ritter officiating. Music will be by Nathan Ensley, Jordan Ensley, Pam Ensley, Junior White and Pauline White. Pallbearers will be Kevin Franklin, James Hughes, Junior Dilbeck, Tim Bell, Jason Tanner and Lou Begley. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Jackie Green, Ed Howard, Randy Harrison and Crudis Sanford. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 13, 2017 after 4:00 p.m. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
