Blue Ridge Elementary School raised $2,749.00 for the American Heart Association in our annual Jump Rope for Heart Event. In Physical Education class, students learned how to keep their bodies healthy and how to help prevent heart disease by making healthy lifestyle choices. During the jump rope for heart event students participated in 5 different jumping stations. Students also had the chance to fill out a heart in honor or in memory of someone that they are jumping for.
The top three students who raised money were Cooper Patterson, Kaydence Patterson, and Carson Newman (highest to lowest).
