Beulah Gaddis Helton, age 92, of Mineral Bluff, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at her home. Born on December 14, 1924 in Lynch, KY, she was the daughter of the late Windom and Ivy Hughes Gaddis. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She also had been a long time member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church. Her husband, Cecil James Helton, Sr. also precedes her in death.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Quinton and Linda Helton, Clinton Helton of Mineral Bluff, GA, Beatrice “Susie” Helton of Chickamauga, GA, Lucille and Fred Husbands of Waycross, GA, James and Gail Helton of Mineral Bluff, GA and Janice Callihan of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Chris Helton, Sharon Daves, Heather Minshew, Stephanie Messer, Danielle Timmerman, Candice Ray, Jennifer Holoman and Jacob Callihan; and many great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 3, 2017, at 11:00 am from Akins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Sweet Gum Baptist Church Cemetery. Jacob Callihan, Scott Ray, Jason Holoman, Chris Helton, Russell Daves, and Randy Willoughby will serve as pallbearers. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
