James Ray “Jimmy” Sadler, age 22, of Morganton, GA passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017. He was born on November 3, 1994 in Jacksonville, FL. Jimmy loved wakeboarding, whitewater rafting, music, and his car. Most of all, he cherished time with his family.
He is survived by his father and step mother, Jim and Lyndsay Sadler of Copperhill, TN; his mother, Carrie Gray of Jacksonville, FL; siblings, Samantha Sadler, Haley Stein, Christian Bennett, and Mitchell Mote. He also leaves behind his grandparents, several aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge (7871 Blue Ridge Drive, Blue Ridge, GA) with Rev. Anthony Vecchio officiating. In lieu of flowers, it was requested that memorial donations be made to help defray final expenses. Condolences may be made online at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of arrangements.
