#TeamFYNSports Sportswriter Player of the Week: Austin Brown

The #TeamFYNSports sportswriter Player of the Week for week 3 is Fannin Rebel Senior Austin Brown.  Brown is listed as a defensive back and wide receiver for the Rebels, and showed great tenacity in Friday night’s game at Chestatee High School.  As the Rebel defense pressured the War Eagles’ backfield, a receiver broke free in the center of the field and caught what was certain to be a touchdown pass.  Many would have given up on the play, but Brown sprinted across the field and chased the ball carrier 60 yards, forcing a fumble inside the Fannin 5-yard line.  Catch Brown and his teammates this Friday at Fannin County High School as the Rebels host Andrews, NC and look to improve their record before region play begins.
