Mrs. Fay Lorraine Queen: Obituary

Fay Lorraine Queen, age 67, of Epworth, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at her home. Born on April 22, 1950 in Pickford, MI, she was the daughter of the late George Cowell and Edna Durant Cowell. She worked for Pruitt Health Care. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Matthew Bazinah

She is survived by her husband, John Queen of the home; sons, Lance Queen of Epworth and Alex Bazinah of Michigan; daughter, Joni Sisson of McCaysville, Tonya Bazinah of Michigan, and Michelle Queen of Epworth; brothers, Bill Cowell of Taylor, MI and George Cowell of Wisconsin; sisters, Kay Parker of St. Ignace, MI and Dottie Cowell of Wyandotte, MI; granddaughter, Hannah Sisson and four other grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at 12:00 pm from Akins Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chan Mitchell will officiate. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
