Mrs. Mary Rebecca Wright , age 73 of Marietta, passed away August 9, 2017 at her home. Mary was born April 30, 1944 in Lebanon, IN to the late Elmer Roberts and the late Camello Roberts. A member of Hot House Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Judy Kay Roberts Wilbur. Mary enjoyed planting and tending her flowers and feeding her birds and squirrels. She was a big Elvis fan having a large collection of his memorabilia.
Survivors include loving husband of 54 years, Hoyt Wright, son, Hoyt Michael (Teresa) Wright, daughter, Mary Michelle (Kevin) Harless, brother, James Roberts, brother-in-law, J.L. Wilbur, grandchildren, Britney (Hamilton) Vickers, Gerald (Taylor) Wright, Jordon Wright, Lindsey (Brandon) Walden, Hoyt Ernest (Cellita) Crabtree, Albert Harless and Garrison Harless, great-grandchildren, Raelynn Vickers, Tripp Vickers, Hudson Wright, Gracie Wright, Lynleigh Wright, Ryder Wright, Lane Walden, Braxton Walden and Bryanna Crabtree, and niece, Melissa Curtis.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Thomas and Rev. Buddy Pittman officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope/Flint Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barry Curtis, Travis Wright, Gerald Wright, Bryan Wright, Tim Wright and Preston Chapman.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, Friday, August 11, 2017, 10:00 am – 8:00 pm and Saturday, August 12, 2017, 10:00 am – 8:00 pm.
