Mr. Kenneth Alvin “Kenny” Bell: Obituary

Kenneth Alvin “Kenny” Bell, age 72, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at his home. Mr. Bell was born in Mineral Bluff, GA on March 14, 1945 to the late John Harvey and Bertha Bell. He was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church in Mineral Bluff, loved gardening and yard work, and was retired after a long career of over 40 years from the Fannin County Road Department.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Queen Bell of the home; daughter, Rena (Jeff) Bell of Ducktown, TN; step son, Rickey (Carol) Hill of Blue Ridge, GA; brothers, Harmon (Glenda) Bell of Buford, GA, Herman (Wanda) Bell of Mineral Bluff, GA, and Norman (Rachel) Bell of Mineral Bluff, GA; sister, Margie Indelieato of Marietta, GA; grandson, Josh Bell of Ducktown, TN; step granddaughters, Heather Culver of Ellijay, GA and Brittany Head of Blue Ridge, GA. A number of Nieces, Nephews, and a host of friends also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Easley and Rev. Phillip Green officiating. Music will be provided by Ivy Bice, Diana Odum, and Linda Ware. Interment will follow in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Bob Hawkins, Ethridge Ware, Tinker Bailey, James Young, Tommy Bell, and Lee Roy Hawkins. The Deacons of New Liberty Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
