Gregory Anthony Stiles, age 51, of Epworth, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at his home. Born on October 2, 1965 in Copperhill, TN, he was the son of the late Clyde Clarence Stiles and Linda Messer Stiles. He was a member of Damascus Baptist Church. He worked as a mechanic and truck driver for Lance Trucking. He was a member of the North Georgia Mopar Club. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Rebecca Stiles.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Martha Massengale Stiles of the home; bulldog, Jax; niece, Lita; nephew, Lanny; sister-in-law, Maria; father and mother-in-law, Ed and Jerrie Sue Massengale and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service was conducted on Saturday, July 22, at 12:00 p.m. from Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Minick officiating. Music was provided by Jerrie Sue Massengale. Interment followed in the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Michael Smith, Anthony Messer, Billy Joe Messer, James Messer, Joseph Messer, Terry Verner, Ricky Beach, Randy Beach, Jackie Morgan, Jon Charles, Randy Clore, Donnie Price, Harold Messer and Tim Messer.
