Mr. James “Ronnie” Rogers, age 64 of Blue Ridge, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at his home. Ronnie was born in Fannin County, GA to the late Andrew Rogers and the late Carrie Bearden Rogers. Mr. Rogers worked for the Tennessee Chemical Company for over 20 years. Ronnie enjoyed working outside on his lawn and going to car shows. Above all else, spending time with his Grandchildren was something Ronnie enjoyed very much. Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by two brothers, W.B. Rogers and J.B. Rogers.
Survivors include: wife, Sue Rogers, Son, Chris (Sandi) Rogers, brother, Jackie Rogers, sister’s, Willa Nell Plush, Ruth Ann Patterson, Shirley Chapman, Betty Dills and Patsy Queen, grandchildren, Faith Rogers and Austin Rogers.
Funeral services: Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Randy Hooper officiating. Music will be provided by the Caylor Family.
The family will receive friends at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA. Thursday, from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
