Mr. Jessie T. Robinson: Obituary

Mr. Jessie T. Robinson, age 100, of Monterey, TN passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017. Jessie was born November 4, 1916 to the late Joe and Vanilla Morrow Roberson. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to garden. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Robinson had retired as General Mining Foreman with the Tennessee Copper Company after being employed over thirty years.

He leaves behind two sisters, Alice Samuelson of Louisville, KY and Rachel Holt of Albermarle, NC; one brother, Joe Roberson of Albermarle, NC; two sons, Lester (Sonny) and wife Kaye Robinson of Monterey, TN, Ronald Robinson of Roswell, GA; three granddaughters, Elizabeth Dickson of Murphy, NC, Shannan and Ben Smith of Nolansville, TN, Julie and Tim Patterson of Knoxville, TN; six great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Ray Harper officiating. A eulogy will be spoken by Mrs. Shannan Smith. Music will be by Ed Vest. Interment will follow in the Turtletown Baptist Church cemetery.
