Linda Louise Turner Hardin, age 57, of McCaysville, GA went home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 17, 2017. Linda was born in Copperhill, TN to the late J.N. and Irene Gilbert Turner. She had worked as an LPN at the Pruitt Healthcare and was a member of the Mobile Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oren Ray Hardin, son-in-law Roy Lee Allen and grandchild, Jaxson Matthew Hardin.
She is survived by children, Brandi Allen of McCaysville, GA and Shiloh Hardin of Turtletown, TN; brothers, Jody Turner of Lincolnton, NC, Robert Turner of Blue Ridge, GA; sister, Janna Pelfrey of McCaysville, GA; four grandchildren, Jacob Lee Allen of McCaysville, GA, Ava Rae Smith of Turtletown, TN, Ally Lee Hardin of Turtletown, TN, Addy Raine Hardin of Turtletown, TN; one great-grandchild, Aubrie Marie Allen of McCaysville, GA.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 5:00 P.M. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Jody Turner officiating. A Eulogy will be spoken by Brandi Allen. Pallbearers include, Jacob Allen, Martin Pelfrey, Amy Caine, Jason Mario, Barry Crump and Brandi Allen. Honorary Pallbearers will include Richard Crowder, Greg Morrow, Mark Turner, Steven Setser, Matthew Hamby and Dr. Mahmood Siddiqui. Interment will follow in the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 5:00 P.M. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
