Fannin County Middle School 8^th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for May. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction. Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for May are: Riley Russell (Team 8A), son of Kacey & Siegrid Russell of Morganton; Isabella Tocci (Team 8A), daughter of Erik & Christina Cioffi of Mineral Bluff and Stephen Tocci of Framingham, MA; Emily McClure (Team 8B), daughter of Jason McClure of Blue Ridge; and Andrew Jones (Team 8B), son of Anthony and Melinda Jones of Morganton.
