Mr. Hayne Clore, age 76, of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away on December 29, 2016. Born in Fannin County, GA, he was the son of the late Edd and Nancy Adams Clore. He was a retired Service Advisor from Andean Chevrolet in Cumming, GA. Hayne was a member of the Morganton Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed growing flowers and planting trees.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Virginia S. Clore of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Kelli Clore of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren, Taylor and Jonathan “Lil Jon” Clore both of Blue Ridge, GA; and a brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Sue Clore of Smyrna, GA.
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Kincaid and Rev. Harold Willis officiating. Music was provided by Anthony Clore, Jordan, Morgan, Gracie and Kristen Tankersley. Interment followed in the Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were: Bobby Mote, Gary Clore, Perry Clore, Richard Clore, Theron Clore and Steve Olcott. Sam Bennett, John Otwell and Larry Lance served as honorary pallbearers.
