David Jefferson Cross, Sr., affectionately known to family and friends as “Uncle Odd”, age 69, of Cleveland, TN passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2016. David was born in Citranel, FL to the late Harrison Jacob and Annie Ethel Yates Cross. He was a master Carpenter with Ross Construction for fifteen years. He was of Christian faith.
He is survived by his wife of forty seven years, Betty Warsham Cross of the home; sons, David Jefferson Cross, Jr and wife, Deanna of Cleveland, TN, Roy Harris Cross and wife, Becky of Decatur, TN, Thomas Lee Cross and wife Mallory of Cleveland, TN; brothers, Hurb Cross of Crystal River, FL, Kenneth Cross of Floral City, FL; sisters, Wilma Mansfield of Williston, FL, Alice Lamb and Louise Comp, both of Winterhaven, FL, Irene Osborne and Jessie Wollard, both of Cleveland, TN; Grandchildren, Tiffany Cross, Savannah Cross, Layne Cross, Thomas Cross II, Heather Smith, Candy Brown and Casey True; great grandchildren, Nick Smith, Dylan Smith, Matthew Smith, Logan Smith, Chloe Smith, Jacob Farris, Caleb True, Barrett Smith and Bella True. Many nieces and nephews.
