Fannin County High School FFA members competed in several career development events on November 1st at Etowah High School in Woodstock. The farm business management team made up of Zachary Franklin, Aaron Walden, Hannah Payne , and Montana Pearson took a 50 question exam over agribusiness curriculum. The team earned a silver emblem by placing in the top 2/3 of the teams. The junior division floriculture team of Tyler Ford, Brooke Crowder, Alexis Ware, and Kat Mathus took a floriculture industry exam and a flower/ hard goods ID practicum. The team earned a gold emblem. In the senior division of floriculture Carleigh Mize and Ashley Bell competed. Carleigh earned a gold emblem and Ashley a silver. Tayelor Long competed in the job interview competition she placed in the top 10 out of 30 contestants and earned a gold emblem.
