Mrs. Martha Jane Castleman Grotz: Obituary

Mrs. Martha Jane Castleman Grotz, age 76, of Mineral Bluff, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at Blue Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care facility. Martha was born on April 12, 1940 in Miami, Florida to the late Edward William Kleid, II and Betty Irene Emmett Kleid. Mrs. Grotz was a member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church. Martha’s career was a beloved Registered Nurse – ICU at Union General and Aventura Hospital for more than 30 years. In her spare time, Martha enjoyed painting, gardening, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Survivors include: husband, Kenneth George Grotz, son, David (Cindy) Castleman, daughter, Nancy Castleman-Dion, son, George (Jessica) Castleman, daughter, Susan Castleman, Brother, Edward (Carol, decessed) Kleid, III, Brother, Karl (Janet) Kleid, Deceased brother, Robert (Joyce) Kleid, sister in law, Muriel Grotz, grandchildren, Bridgette, Colleen, Kelly, George, Samantha, and Trevor.

Funeral services: Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and family at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA, Thursday, December 15, 2016, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
