Sylvia Jean Holt, age 78, of Morganton, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at her home. She was born in Rabun County, GA, on January 17, 1938 to the late Lee and Mary Ledford Williams. She was a loving mother to her children. She worked in Public Records for 21 years at Wells Fargo Bank.

She is survived by children, Johnny Holt and wife Becky, Tim Holt, and Pamela Tolley and husband Kenny; brothers, David Williams, Doyle Williams, Leon Williams, Lindsey Williams, and Ralph Williams; sister, Marlene Williams; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be conducted on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 2:30 pm from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel in Blue Ridge. Rev. Paul Gibbs will officiate. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
