Mr. Thomas Glen Turner: Obituary

Mr. Thomas Glen Turner, Jr. age 70 of Blue Ridge, passed away November 26, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Turner was born May 15, 1946 to the late Thomas Glen Turner Sr. and the late Hazel Williams Turner. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a manager for the Tri-State Concrete Co. until his retirement in 2014.

Survivors include: daughter, Jennifer (Robbie) Thompson and granddaughter, Elle Thompson, all of Columbus, GA, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, hunting and golf buddies, and many other friends and family.

Funeral services: Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Bo Bulloch officiating. Music provided by: Vicky Sparks Whittenbarger. Interment will follow in the Epworth First Baptist Church Cemetery. Military Honors provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Pallbearers: Rick Welch, Scott Satterfield, Gilbert Brown, Korey Satterfield, Steven Nazerine & Jim Helton.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. The family welcomes flowers as well as donations to the Brett Dickey or Freddy Cook Golf Tournament.
