Annual Thanksgiving Open Table Dinner

The Fannin County Good Samaritans will be serving our annual Thanksgiving Open Table Dinner at Fannin High School from 12-4 pm on Thanksgiving Day. We will be serving smoked Turkey and all the fixins’ + drink and desserts. All are welcome to share a traditional holiday meal on Thanksgiving Day at the Fannin County High School. No reservations are required. Take-out meals are available for your home bound folks and folks who are working the holidays.
There is no charge to share Community Thanksgiving Open Table meal. Although donations are welcome, they are not required. Especially invited guests include singles, elderly, homeless, on-duty public safety folks, widows and widowers, local agency referrals, travelers and area visitors as well as the caring volunteers that help prepare and serve the holiday meal.
Come enjoy or perhaps share your own talents during the Thanksgiving Music Medley “Open Mic” to help guests celebrate the holiday. Children’s Craft activities allow parents and grandparents time to relax with a cup of coffee after dinner and socialize with old, or make new, friends. Good Samaritans’ Silent Auction includes items donated by area businesses, individuals and organizations. Items may be brought to the High School cafeteria Wednesday between 9 and 3, dropped off prior to Wednesday at American Wholesale Print Shop or call/text 229.560.0331 to arrange for pick-up.
Opportunities abound for folks who can volunteer to transport items, set up, cook, serve and clean up We will need trucks, drivers, cooks, table setters, artists, and more. “Help us help others in His Name”.
