Fannin County Middle School 8^th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for October. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction. Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for October are: Cady Finley (Team 8A), daughter of Philip & Heather Finley of Morganton; Aidan Williams (Team 8A), son of Mike & Keri Williams of McCaysville; Kylee Cornelius (Team 8B), daughter of Michael Cornelius of Blue Ridge and Brittney Ensley of McCaysville; and Juan Leal (Team 8B), son of Jose and Maria Leal of McCaysville.
