Fannin County Court House is open for Saturday voting today from 9 – 4:30 pm. Fannin County Board of Elections says that approximately 4,000 people in Fannin County have already voted. This is approximately 25% of Fannin’s registered voters, which is around 17,000.
If you haven’t received your voter registration card yet, you can always request a provisional ballot during early voting or at the polling precinct. These ballots are reviewed and valid ballots are included in the official voting results which are published a few days after the election. If you are unsure if you are registered, you can check at Georgia Secretary of State’s voter registration webpage. You can not register to vote at poll locations.
The first week of early voting saw about 300 people per day. The second week about 500 people per day. Early voting continues next week – Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5 pm at Fannin County Court House. Early voting ends on Friday, Nov. 4th. The final day for voting is Tues. Nov. 8th. All polling locations around the county will be open.
