BRES Multi Cultural Celebration

Blue Ridge Elementary 2nd and 3rd graders hosted their 2nd annual Multi-cultural Food Celebration on October 23, 2016. The celebration took place in the Blue Ridge Elementary cafeteria. The cafeteria was decorated to honor all nationalities across the globe. Music in different languages was also played for students to listen to as they tasted homemade food from all over the world. Blue Ridge Elementary would like to thank all the parents who donated food and came out to support our school and students during this special celebration. The school would also like to give special thanks and recognition to El Rio Mexican Restaurant in Copperhill, G.A. for donating enough chips and salsa for every student during the celebration. In addition, Las 2 Huastecas Mexican Store in Blue Ridge, G.A. also donated homemade guacamole for all of the students.  The celebration would not have been possible without these generous donations.

La escuela Elementaría Blue Ridge, grados 2^nd. Y 3ro. fueron los anfitriones de la “Celebración Anual de la Alimentación Multicultural”, el día 23 de Octubre del 2016. Esta celebración tuvo lugar en la cafetería de la Escuela Blue Ridge. La cafetería estuvo decorada en honor a todas las nacionalidades de todo el mundo. Música en diferentes idiomas, diferentes objetos y comida de varios países fueron expuestas en esta celebración. La Escuela Elementaría Blue Ridge quiere agradecer a todos los padres que donaron alimentos y vinieron apoyar a los estudiantes y a la escuela en esta celebración tan especial. La escuela también quiere reconocer y agradecer muy especialmente al” Restaurant El Rio” en Copperhill, Ga  por donar chips y salsa, así también como al restaurant “Las 2 Huastecas”, en Blue Ridge, Ga  (Tienda Mexicana) que donó el guacamole para todos los estudiantes. Esta celebración no hubiera sido posible sin estas generosas donaciones.
