The Fannin Middle School STEM project from Ms. Walden and Ms. Stiles’ reading classes have been working together reading “My Side of the Mountain” by Jean Craighead George. They completed the first STEM project with the novel and students went to the nature trail to pick out leaves to boil water in and sticks to use to make a fish hook like the main character Sam does in the book.
