West Fannin School Wide STEM Day Held on Friday, October 7th

Third grade planted Pansies as a way to beautify our school grounds. The kids had to plan and measure each box in order to make sure each plant had enough space to grow. They also had to plant a flower that could withstand cold weather.

Fifth grade challenge was to make a boat that could hold 25 pennies without sinking. They had to used 10 straws and 10 inches of plastic wrap.

Kindergarten looked for machines, determining if they are push or pull.
