Mrs. Ruby Mae Patterson: Obituary

Mrs. Ruby Mae Patterson, age 95, of Copperhill, TN passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Mrs. Patterson was born in Fannin County to the late Robert and Effie Thomas Galloway. She was a member of the Mt. View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Rockford Patterson, son, Alvin Patterson and daughters, Marilyn Nicholson and Anita Miller. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Carlton and Susie Patterson of Copperhill, TN; sons-in-law, Bobby Nicholson of Mineral Bluff, GA, Ronnie Miller of Copperhill, TN; two sisters, Arlene Patterson and Pauline Thomas; ten grandchildren, Keith Miller, Phyllis Hensley, Edwin Patterson, Charmell Mealer, Danny Patterson, Dana Cole, Brian Arp, Keri Williams, Nikki Cantrell and Josh Patterson; Twenty great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 1st, at 12:00 PM from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Ed O’Neal and Rev. Thomas Payne officiating. Music will be by the O’Neal Family. Pallbearers include, Josh Patterson, Edwin Patterson, Danny Patterson, Brian Arp, Keith Miller and Daniel Deal. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
